At The Meriwether, Carefree Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care are found in one beautiful community. Our goal is for every resident to make our community their home for years to come. By offering services in three distinct residential options along with customized individual care, The Meriwether can gladly serve the needs of all who reside in our community.

At The Meriwether, we pride ourselves on our unique service offerings, including restaurant-style dining in carefree and assisted living from our in-house chef. We also offer free transportation – and not just to appointments! We’ll take you anywhere within a set radius of our building – shopping, to visit friends or your family home, to the gym or YMCA and much more. 

Carefree Living

If your health-care needs are minimal, Carefree Living may be perfect for you. Living independently has benefits like a bigger apartment with a kitchenette, plus all community amenities and social activities. We’ll be there to support you, but only if you need it.


  • A secured community, with staff on duty, 24/7.
  • All life enrichment activities.
  • Free local transportation.
  • Complimentary valet parking.
  • Five complimentary, chef-prepared meals per month, served restaurant-style in the community dining room.
  • Twice-monthly housekeeping and linen service.
  • Maintenance and all utilities.
  • Complimentary wellness checks (if requested).

Additional meals, housekeeping and personal laundry services are also available for additional costs.

Assisted Living

If you need a bit more help to live life fully, Assisted Living could be right for you. Live as independently as you wish, with our caring staff here to lend a hand with anything you need. Have fun with friends, enjoy exciting trips, fun activities and much more.

  • Regular housekeeping and laundry service included.
  • Maintenance and all utilities.
  • Complimentary wellness checks.

Additional care services are are available for a monthly cost in a separate Level of Care package. Services include, but are not limited to, medication management, bathing, dressing and more. Care needs and costs are based on a personal assessment of your needs and wants, performed by our nurse. Level one of care is provided free of charge and eight levels of care are available.

Memory Care

Our in-house memory care neighborhood, Clark House, is a welcoming residence where individuals with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia can feel fulfilled, cared for and engaged every day. We strive to provide an environment that fully supports the unique needs of those with memory loss. Clark House residents enjoy daily activities and outings, many of which are customized to their unique interests and passions. With our support, we know that those with memory loss can still live life to the fullest.

Clark House residents enjoy special amenities, such as their own courtyard and an activity kitchen, but also benefit from all that the entire community has to offer.

Memory Care ServiceS Include:

  •  A safe and secure neighborhood, purposefully designed for those with memory loss.
  • Staff who are specially trained to care for those with dementia, on duty 24/7.

Short-Term Stays

Some may opt to choose a short-term or respite option as a bridge between in-home care and a full-time residency decision. It’s a great way to find out how well you or your loved one will acclimate to The Meriwether. It’s also a helpful solution for family caregivers who need to work, travel or just take a break. It may also be used as a transition between a medical procedure and a move back home. A short-term stay includes three meals a day plus snacks, housekeeping, laundry and linen services, life enrichment activities, free transportation and complimentary wellness checks.
